Vol. 2 No. 3 (2024)
Issue Description

Volume 2, Issue 3 spans gastroenterology, infectious disease, cardiology and oncology. It reviews rutin as a potent flavonoid for colitis management and examines environmental factors shaping the gut microbiota and their health consequences. The issue also explores the gut microbiome's role in autistic spectrum disorders and presents patient-derived tumor organoids as platforms for disease modeling and personalized therapy. A roadmap for next-generation COVID-19 diagnostics is outlined, while a perspective compares CHA2DS2VASc and Mehran's scores for risk stratification before primary percutaneous coronary intervention. Finally, tissue section proteomics is highlighted as an emerging tool in cancer research. Together, the articles reflect the journal's commitment to bridging molecular insights with clinical practice.
